The Schemes were demand driven and required community participation and approval at different stages.

Studies, design, tender documents and supervision of construction. Development of water supplies based on ground water, and sanitation for three district capitals in Ashanti and Brong Ahafo Regions of Ghana, namely, Ejura, Kintampo and Nkoranza. The work involved active participation of the beneficiary communities in the planning and design of the schemes to ensure acceptance and sustainability. The work which was started in April 1998 was done in association with IGIP Consultants of Germany and TREND, software consultant in Kumasi. IGIP played a coordinating role while Watertech handled all the technical aspects of the project

Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development

Review of an existing feasibility report, detailed design, tender documents and environmental management plan. Review and updating of an existing report for improving and extending the sewerage network in Accra covering the area between the Densu Delta and Kpeshie Lagoon and extending northwards to Legon. The project included the design and tender documentation for two sub-marine outfalls and three waste stabilization pond treatment systems. The work which was started in February 2003 was undertaken in joint venture with a German firm, Lahmeyer International with funding by the African Development Bank.
